The Ministry of Transport, in cooperation with Mustansiriyah University / College of Engineering, is organizing a scientific conference that aims to review recent developments in all sectors of transportation: land, sea, air, and railways and to provide innovative solutions to contemporary challenges in these areas. This conference comes within the framework of the Ministry’s strategies to achieve sustainable development and provide specialized research to improve transportation efficiency, exchange expertise and knowledge, and apply the latest technologies to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development in all forms of transportation.
Objectives:
• Provide a platform for cooperation between government agencies, private companies, and investors to enhance partnerships and unify efforts to achieve sustainable transportation goals in the country.
• Study the current challenges facing the transportation sector and explore opportunities to improve performance and expand services.
• Present scientific research and recent studies in various transportation fields, which contributes to enhancing knowledge and making informed decisions.
• Highlight global and local policies and legislation that enhance the safety and effectiveness of this vital sector.
• Exchange ideas, experiences, and dialogue between local and international experts, which contributes to the exchange of best practices and innovative solutions to develop the transportation sector.
• Encourage innovative thinking and find new solutions that contribute to overcoming challenges and achieving sustainable development in the transportation sector.
• Strengthen the transportation sector in Iraq and highlight the importance of developing and modernizing the transportation infrastructure to improve efficiency and safety in all aspects of land, sea, and air transportation.
